Customer Success Ref: ZG-US-CSM-007
Customer Success Manager, Healthcare AI, San Francisco
The Role
A 15-person company in San Francisco builds an AI platform for home health clinicians. It is hiring two to three Customer Success Managers.
This is a front-line, operational CS seat. You talk to clinicians every day, get them onboarded and trained, and run the workflows that keep the success team moving. The people you support are busy and often not technical, so patience and clear explanation matter as much as process.
What You Will Do
- Act as the direct contact for clinicians through onboarding, training and ongoing use
- Run day-to-day success operations: scheduling, follow-ups, record-keeping and internal coordination
- Write and maintain the training materials and guides clinicians learn from
- Track usage and engagement, and flag the trends the team needs to see
- Pass clinician feedback to the product team in a form they can act on
What You Need
- 3 to 8 years in a customer-facing or operational role at a technology company
- Time at an early-stage startup, seed to Series B
- Experience in a role that was both operational and customer-facing
- The ability to pick up a complicated workflow quickly, with close attention to detail
- A calm, warm manner, and skill at de-escalating a frustrated customer
- Comfort with tools such as HubSpot and Airtable, or the speed to learn them
- A reason of your own for wanting to work in healthcare
- Hybrid in San Francisco
Who This Does Not Suit
- People whose whole career has been in large, established companies
- People whose background is healthcare services only, with no time in a technology company
Useful, Not Required
- Experience at a healthcare AI startup
Package
- Base salary: US$120,000 to US$140,000
- On-target earnings: US$145,000 to US$170,000
- Equity: included
- Work rights: US citizen or permanent resident. No visa sponsorship or transfers
- Location: hybrid, San Francisco
