Built from the floor up. Then built the software too.

A recruiter who ships AI products and a founder who places the people who sell them.

Daniel Bryant is the founder and CEO of Zionic Group, placing Sales Engineers and Customer Success Leaders into AI-powered SaaS companies across HR Tech, Fintech, and GRC. He also built Kolvera, an AI-powered sales intelligence platform. Based in Adelaide, he combines daily AI product experience with recruitment expertise.

Daniel Bryant, Founder of Zionic Group

Three years ago I was on shifts at a steel mill in Whyalla. Twelve-hour days. The kind of work where you feel it in your hands at the end of the week.

I left the floor and spent two years in corporate recruitment. Learned the trade. Learned what I'd never do again. KPI walls. Bell-ringing. A business model designed around the agency, not the people doing the work.

So I built Zionic Group from zero. Solo. No office. National from day one. Trades, electrical, industrial. 30+ placements in my first 12 months.

The whole time I was running Zionic I was paying USD for tools that didn't fit how we work in Australia. Apollo. Lusha. Smartlead. Eight different platforms duct-taped together. Hundreds a month for a stack that half-worked.

So I built that too. Kolvera. An AI-powered sales intelligence platform. Deep research using LLMs, AI-driven email campaigns, multi-source enrichment, predictive scoring, CRM. I work with language models, enrichment APIs, and inference pipelines every day. That is why I can screen an AI Sales Engineer in 20 minutes while most recruiters are still Googling what RAG means.

Building Kolvera changed everything. Suddenly I was in daily conversations with SaaS founders, RevOps leaders, sales engineers, and CS managers. I was embedded in the world my future recruitment clients live in.

That is the unlock. Most SaaS recruiters have never built a product. Most founders have never recruited at scale. I do both. Every day.

Now Zionic places Sales Engineers and Customer Success Leaders into AI-powered SaaS companies. The founder-recruiter combination is the competitive advantage. I know what a strong SE or CSM looks like because I work alongside them.

Two companies. Run lean. Run remote.

That is the freedom I built this for. My kids get the version of me that is not burned out from a commute. Work fits around life instead of the other way round.

Why the founder-recruiter combination matters

Zionic is not a recruitment agency that happens to know SaaS. It is a SaaS company that also recruits.

Product Knowledge

I built and ship an AI-powered SaaS platform every day. I understand inference architecture, model evaluation, and technical sales from the inside. When I screen an AI SE, I know what good looks like because I build with the same tools.

Candidate Access

Kolvera users include the SEs, CSMs, and RevOps leaders that SaaS companies are trying to hire. I am already in their world.

Direct Line

No account manager handoff. You work directly with the founder who places the role. One person, full accountability.
